President Tereso A. Abella leads the CLSU constituents during the commemoration of Earth Hour 2017 last March 25.
“Participating in the Earth Hour campaign of turning off the lights for one hour is not only an annual tradition since it started in 2010 to show our support in the fight against climate change by reducing our energy consumption, but also a reminder to everyone especially our students to take a stand on the challenges and threat of global warming, and other environmental issues. Also, we must make a commitment to bring concrete solutions to create a better future for our planet,” Pres. Abella said.
Other activities during the occasion are clean-up campaign, tree planting and boodle fight.
