
Overview
The CAg is mostly concerned with the recent aspects of agricultural science and technology and management. It upholds the responsibility of providing quality education in agriculture and allied fields through its world-class facilities and competent faculty members and staff who are committed to continuously produce the necessary mechanism that aims to promote relevant agricultural education in the country.
Admissions
Upcoming CLSU students must complete the lorem ipsum with six or more credits including Science with a minimum average of 60 per cent and one of Advanced Functions, Calculus and Vectors or Mathematics of Data Management with a minimum average of 60 per cent.
Note: Admission is competitive. The specific average or standing required for admission varies from year to year. Students are selected by taking into consideration a wide range of criteria including school marks, distribution of subjects taken, and performance in subjects relevant to the academic program. Possession of the minimum requirements does not guarantee acceptance. Preference will be given to applicants with the best qualifications.

Course Offerings
Bachelor of Science in Agribusiness
The program is designed to produce educated and competent agribusiness managers/entrepreneurs. The curriculum intends to develop knowledge, skills, and values in creating, managing, and growing sustainable agribusinesses. To finish the program, students must complete 158-course units including a case study write-up out of their six-unit internship conducted in an agribusiness enterprise either locally or abroad.

Bachelor of Science in Agriculture
The program focuses either on ruminant and non-ruminant production, crop science (i.e. agronomy, horticulture, organic farming, or plant breeding), crop protection (i.e. entomology, plant pathology, or weed science), soil science, agricultural economics, and agricultural extension. The students must complete 146-course units of coursework which include an apprenticeship, undergraduate thesis, or major practice.

The first two years of the program have a common curriculum featuring simulations, teamwork and case studies. In your third year, students can proceed to your chosen major.
PhD in Agricultural Entomology
The Doctor of Philosophy in Agricultural Entomology program aims to support the promotion of continuing intellectual growth, advancement of learning research and development of responsible and effective individuals. The program focuses on courses dealing with insects that have significant impact, both in the destructive and beneficial aspect, in crop and animal production.
PhD in Animal Science
The Doctor of Philosophy in Animal Science program aims to provide a way to mentor graduate students in utilizing complex research, creative work, and/or professional practice in animal science. It is a way to develop complex research and creative work with strategic value added. The capability of the graduate students to apply a significant level of expertise-based autonomy will be harnessed with the guidance of experts in the field of animal nutrition, reproductive physiology, and biotechnology, including scientists at Philippine Carabao Center (PCC), and other allied institutions.
PhD in Plant Breeding
A specialized degree dedicated for plant breeders that aims to strengthen their expertise using genetics and biotechnology tools, and further contribute in generating new breeds of crops at national and international level based on the future demands to feed the world.
PhD in Crop Science
The program aims to produce graduates who can generate technologies using research-based approach that will help ensure higher crop productivity, and become leaders and educators in crops sector globally. This course offers specialization in Agronomy and Horticulture.
PhD in Soil Science
The graduate degree program hones the ability, skills and intellectuality of its graduates in researches and creative-works in field and laboratory responsibilities.
MS in Agribusiness Management
The program aims to train project managers and entrepreneurs who will manage government programs as well as private enterprises as it inculcates among its students the role and importance of agribusiness enterprises, and rural development projects in sustaining economic growth. The main thrust of the program is to enhance the acquisition of skills in the fields of production, marketing, personnel and organizational management. Students will likewise acquire the expertise in actual development and management of agribusiness projects.
MS in Agricultural Economics
The MS in Agricultural Economics aims to provide future college teachers, economists, agriculturists, researchers and executives in government and industry with broad and adequate training in the technique and application of economic analysis. It is largely concerned with providing a framework for addressing economic issues and deeper understanding of the fundamental choices facing business and government.
MS in Animal Science
The graduate degree program aims to provide advanced knowledge and skills in a specialized, interdisciplinary, or multidisciplinary field of animal science for self-directed research. It is an avenue to foster lifelong learning for self-directed research that involves working with interdisciplinary or multidisciplinary experts.
MS in Crop Protection
The program offers the opportunity for advanced training and professional growth of BSA graduates with major in Crop Protection. It aims to strengthen the academic foundation, and to further develop the capabilities of the candidates in various disciplines of crop protection like entomology, plant pathology, and other related areas of concern.
MS in Crop Science
This degree caters mastery in knowledge and skills of crop growth management using scientific based methods. It offers specialization in agronomy, horticulture and plant breeding.
MS in Soil Science
The degree program enables its graduates to be equipped with advances in technology, information and academics that upholds the fertility, productivity and sustainability of agricultural soil resource.
