The Central Luzon State University signed a Memorandum of Understanding for its teacher education program with Jambi University, Indonesia, July 27.
According to Dr. Florante Ibarra, international linkage coordinator, the MOU covers faculty and student mobility, research collaboration and cultural exchange.
The MOU signing was held during the visit of Dr. Amirul Mukminin, International Affairs Officer of Jambi University Indonesia, to CLSU.
At present, four faculty members of Jambi University are currently pursuing their master’s degree at the College of Education.
Among those who witnessed the MOU signing were Dr. Florante Ibarra, Prof. Vilma Salas, chair of EEd Department; Dr. Leila Collantes, chair of SEd Department; Dr. Renato Reyes, director of CLSU International Affairs Office, and faculty members of Jambi University.
Jambi University is a public Indonesian university located in Jambi City in the island of Sumatra.
CEd has also existing partnership with Thailand universities and one Chinese university.
