BSEd sophomore lass is Ms. CLSU’s first runner-up

A second year English major won first runner up in the recent Mr. and Ms. CLSU beauty pageant, Sept. 23.

Jessa Mae De Vera, BSEd 2-1, was crowned first runner-up during the pageant’s coronation night at the University Auditorium.

De Vera also won minor and major awards including Ms. Our Homes 2016, Ms. Photogenic 2016, Best in Shorts Wear and Best in Formal Wear.

“I was so happy and thankful for those who cheered me up and I was so actually flattered and contented for what I have achieved that night,”, said De Vera after she was named runner-up.

Meanwhile, two BSEd male students, Christian Dave Talampas, BSEd 2-2 and Ace Vincent Molina Olarte Jr., BSEd 2-5 also represented the college.
