Dr. Regidor G. Gaboy, CEd dean, presented the college extension proposal “AgriSikat! Sa Agrikultura, Sikat Ka!” during the National Agriculture and Fisheries Education system (NAFES) Extenion Grants Orientation-Writeup at Xenia Hotel, Clarkfield, Pampanga, Oct. 12.
The proposed Php 5 million extension project is a career advocacy campaign on agriculture and fisheries for grade 9 junior high school students in Nueva Ecija
The proposal is one of the 33 preliminary accepted proposals from among the 109 submissions received by CHED Knowledge and System Division.
Expected beneficiaries of the extension project are students of five public and private schools in each of the five DepEd divisions of Nueva Ecija.
Once CHED gave the greenlight for the project, the student-beneficiaries will undergo various engagements on agriculture and fisheries such as Agri-Fish Camp, Agri-Fish Caravan, Kwentong Agri-Fish, Tuklasang Idyanale and Agri-Fish Congress.
