Delegates from CLSU-College of Fisheries, which comprises of six M.Sc. Aquaculture students from the Department of Aquaculture, a science research assistant and a science research specialist of the Freshwater Aquaculture Center, headed by Dr. Emmanuel M. Vera Cruz, one of the faculty members of CF, participated in the 13th International Kuroshio Science Symposium held from November 19 to 21 in Tuguegarao City, Cagayan.
The symposium was joined by representatives from the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) Regional Offices 1, 2, 3, 4A, 5, 8, 10, Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao, Cordillera Administrative Region, Caraga Administrative Region, Department of Agriculture (DA)-National Fisheries Research and Development Institute, DA-Bureau of Agricultural Research, Cagayan Economic Zone Authority, Batangas State University, Bicol State University, Cagayan State University, Central Bicol University, Central Luzon State University, Isabela State University, Kochi University, Partido State University, San Carlos University, University of the Philippines (UP)-Visayas, UP-Marine Science, Visayas State University, Western Philippines University.
The event was organized by the BFAR Regional Office 2, Kochi University, and the Cagayan State University.
