The Central Luzon State University (CLSU) – College of Education (CEd) achieved a record-breaking overall performance rate of 85.71 percent for Elementary Education and 78.67 percent for Secondary Education in the recent Board Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (BLEPT) administered by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) last September 26, 2021.
“This year’s BLEPT performance is so far the highest that we have obtained based on the available records since 2016,” Dr. Regidor G. Gaboy, CEd Acting Dean said.
He also commended the passers with the words “we are proud of you” and reminded them to “vanquish darkness and spread cheers all over the whole wide world”.
With this, a total of sixty-five (65) graduates passed the said examination, wherein 6 were graduates of Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and 59 were Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education.
Meanwhile, on the National Level, 4,883 takers out of 8,726 (55.96%) passed the elementary education, and 10,318 examinees out of 17,863 (57.76%) passed the secondary education exam.
