NEDA Monitors Infra Projects in CLSU

The Project Monitoring and Evaluation Division (PMED) team of the National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) in region 3 headed by Mr. Fernando T. Cablaza, Jr. attended the face-to-face briefing and visitation of completed and ongoing infrastructure projects of the University on March 17, 2022, at the Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs Amphitheater.

President Edgar A. Orden, joined by Vice President for Research and Extension, Dr. Armando N. Espino Jr., Vice President for Administration, Dr. Danilo S. Vargas, Vice President for Business Affairs, Dr. Ariel G. Mactal, and Mr. Ryan B. Esteban, Planning Officer attended the said activity.

After the briefing, the NEDA Team proceeded with the ocular visit of the ongoing and completed infrastructure projects as approved by the General Appropriation Act (GAA). Six out of 11 completed projects were surveyed, namely: Reimers Hall Building, Teacher Education Hall, Ramon Magsaysay Center for Agricultural Resources and Environment Studies (RM-CARES) Organic Farming Training Facility, Two-Storey dormitory Building, CLSU infirmary, and Precision and Digital Agriculture Center.

In 2021, the University has completed four GAA-approved infrastructure projects amounting to 105,000,000.00 pesos.
