Milagros A. Diaz, Head of the Department of Agricultural Extension; Prof. Janet L. Saturno of the UEC Applied Communication Division (ACD) and proponent of the project; Mr. Alexander A. Mapalo, President of Cabisuculan Mushroom Growers Association; and Hon. Benjamin L. Cara, Punong Barangay of Cabisuculan, entered a Memorandum of Understanding to signify the commitment of both parties in serving the farmers in the community through the learning center.

The TV-GAD Learning Center is equipped with ICT equipment and IEC materials to support its services and activities in the community and nearby areas. It is funded by the University Gender and Development office of CLSU.

Prof. Saturno said, the former Department Head of Agricultural Extension who proposed the establishment of the TV-GAD Learning Center.

Prof. Diaz added.

The TV-GAD Learning Center is a hub made accessible to the farmers and other clients where they can acquire or adopt new technology protocols appropriate for them for their livelihood and daily consumption.
