Central Luzon State University, an institution of higher learning, ranked 18th out of the 287 universities in the Philippines according to the Ranking Web of Universities released in January 2022.

The Ranking Web or Universities or Webometrics is the largest academic ranking of Higher Education Institutions that published useful information about the performance of universities from all over the world. The indicators for the ranking include the visibility or the web content impact (50%), Transparency or Openness which include the top-cited research or number of citations (10%), and the excellence of top-cited papers for the last five years.  

Meanwhile, the university gained a rank of 13,607 on web content impact, 3,990 on openness, and 6,775 on excellence.
