CLSU Produces 3 Topnotchers, Exceeds Nat’l Passing Rate in the Veterinarian Licensure Exam

Three graduates of the CLSU-College of Veterinary Science and Medicine (CVSM) topped the recently concluded Veterinarian Licensure Examination administered by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) last March 29-31, 2022.
Dr. Jose Eldon Sumeldan emerged as the top 2 in the said exam garnering a score of 84.76 percent and joining him in the roster of topnotchers are Dr. John Patrick Gicaraya as top 8 and Dr. Vladimir Aguada as top 9 with a score of 83.12 and 83.03 percent, respectively. They are among the 43 graduates who successfully passed the said exam yielding an institutional rate of 63.24 percent which exceeds the national passing rate of 47.45 percent. Moreover, it is also noteworthy to mention that the university got a passing rate of 93.75 percent for first takers.
Meanwhile, in the national level, 288 out of 607 examinees passed the Veterinary Licensure Exam.
