CLSU-CEn alumnus is Top 3 in PICQS Exam

Engr. Van M. Pastor, an alumnus of the Central Luzon State University – College of Engineering (CLSU-CEn) clinched the third spot in the Philippine Institute of Certified Quantity Surveyors (PICQS), Inc. P3T Examination for Asia Pacific Region held on May 1, 2022.
Engr. Pastor, a BS in Civil Engineering (CE) graduate in 2016, got an 80% score in the PICQS Examination making it to the topnotcher’s list.
According to Engr. Pastor, the PICQS P3T examination is given to the PICQS members who are pursuing a structured training program to become Certified Quantity Surveyors. PICQS is an organization open to Filipino citizens who are QS-trained engineers, having about 1200 members in 11 chapters worldwide.
Aside from this feat, Engr. Pastor also topped the DPWH accreditation examination for Materials Engineer -1 way back in 2018. He is also a licensed civil engineer and a master plumber and is currently working as a Quantity Surveyor for Freedom Strategies Ltd, a New Zealand-based architectural company, and serves as a part-time instructor for the CLSU-DABE Board exam review.
