Faculty-researchers from Japanese Universities to Serve as Adjunct Professors in CLSU

Dr. Kyoko Watanabe and Dr. Koji Ishikawa from Tamagawa University, and Dr. Chiharu Nakashima from Mie University signed a Notice of Appointment with Central Luzon State University (CLSU) to internationalize academic and research activities, held last June 14, 2022, at DHTM Lounge.
The Notice of Appointment contains the designation of the adjunct professors who will teach specialized courses to graduate students from the College of Agriculture, College of Science, and College of Arts and Social Sciences.
The Japanese professors received a warm welcome from the CLSU Officials led by University President Edgar A. Orden together with Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Renato G. Reyes, Vice President for Administration Services, Dr. Danilo S. Vargas, Vice President for Research and Extension, Dr. Armando Espino Jr., and the University Board Secretary Mr. Jaypee De Guzman.
Dr. Nakashima, in his statement of commitment, expressed his gratitude for the continuous partnership of the three institutions and for the opportunity to teach CLSU graduate students.
Meanwhile, President Orden expressed his appreciation to the Tamagawa and Mie Universities for hosting CLSU faculty and students in their respective schools. He also said that he looks forward to more partnerships between the universities including sending of exchange faculty and students.
The adjunct professors are expected to teach for the academic year 2022-2023.
