Political Counsellor and Staff of the British Embassy of Manila visit CLSU

The British Embassy of Manila led by Political Counsellor lain Cox is at Central Luzon State University (CLSU) today, June 16 as part of their effort to advance the bilateral relationship between the Philippines and the United Kingdom.
The delegation was welcomed by the University President Edgar A. Orden, joined by Dr. Armando N. Espino Jr., Vice President for Research and Extension, Dr. Marvin Cinense, Head of Philippine-Sino Center for Agricultural Technology (PhilSCAT), Dr. Jonathan Fabula, Head of Land and Water Resources Center (LWRMC), and Engr. Christopher Pascual, faculty researcher from the College of Engineering, at the newly inaugurated Precision and Digital Agriculture Center (PreDict).
A short program is being held wherein different technologies about smart farming practices that would make agriculture more efficient, productive, sustainable, and globally competent were presented.
Meanwhile, University President Edgar A. Orden expressed his willingness to be a partner of the United Kingdom in academic and research endeavors.
A tour of the facility will cap off the visit.
