CLSU Maestro Singers Wins 5 Awards in 2 Int’l Choir Contests

The Central Luzon State University (CLSU) – Maestro Singers bagged five awards in two different International Choir Competitions held in Japan and Taiwan on July 29 to August 02, 2022, respectively.
The CLSU Maestro Singers’ perfect harmony made them reap three major awards under Category V during the 2022 Tokyo International Choir Competition in Harumi held at Dai-ichi Seimei Hall, Tokyo which was broadcasted live via YouTube.
The awards include Category Winner with a score of 89.40, Gold Prize Award, and Audience Prize Award for the highest number of “likes” on YouTube.
Also, on the recent release result of the Taipei International Choral Festival, the group clinched two awards – the Category Winner for Virtual Choir Competition and the Gold Award with a score of 90.15.
The CLSU Maestro Singers presented their masterpiece version of “Paraiso” written by Ryan Cayabyab and arranged by Christopher Borela. Their prize includes a trophy and a certificate.
