The Ramon Magsaysay Center for Agricultural Resources and Environment Studies (RM-CARES) marks another milestone with the inauguration and blessing of the newly-established Organic Farming Training Facilities and the renovated Material Recovery Facility on August 12, 2022.

Central Luzon State University President, Dr. Edgar A. Orden, along with Dr. Armando N. Espino Jr,  VP for Research and Extension, Dr. Danilo S. Vargas, VP for Administration, and Dr. Maria Luisa T. Mason, RM-CARES Head, officiated the inauguration and blessing ceremony.

The training facility features a dormitory that can accommodate up to 30 trainees with separate rooms for male and female. Another key feature of the facility is the large pantry where trainees can learn how to cook and process their own farm produce, and a showroom for the different products developed by the Center.

As a newly-accredited Farm Tourism Site, and a Learning Site for Agriculture by the DA-Agricultural Training Institute III and the Department of Tourism III respectively, this training facility is expected to cater not only the training needs of the students but other interested trainees and visitors of the University.

The construction and renovation of the facilities with a total budget of P7,184,346 started in 2021 under the leadership of then RM-CARES Head, the late Dr. Jonathan L. Galindez.
