CLSU AFTBI Among the Exhibitors in IIC 2022

The Central Luzon State University (CLSU) through the Agriculture and Food Technology Business Incubation (AFTBI) showcased the technologies developed by the University and promoted the spinoff and startup products enrolled in the technology business incubation program during the Inclusive Innovation Conference (IIC) 2022 held in Batangas State University on 25-26 May 2022.
The two-day event, organized by the Department of Trade and Industry, was anchored on the theme Leadership in Innovation: Key to Sustained Competitiveness and Economic Growth which reverberated the Department’s initiative to further strengthen leadership and value orientation as a strategy for promoting innovation and entrepreneurship.
University President Edgar A. Orden served as one of the plenary speakers along with the Secretary of the Department of Science and Technology, Dr. Fortunato T. de la Peña, who lauded the African Swine Fever (ASF) Test Kit as one of the outstanding examples of successful innovation.
The said ASF Test Kit was developed by the team led by Dr. Clarissa Yvonne J. Domingo who is a professor at the CLSU College of Veterinary Science and Medicine and the owner and founder of Blitzkrieg, a spinoff presently enrolled in the acceleration program of the CLSU AFTBI.
