Dr. Clarisse Yvonne Domingo, College of Veterinary Science and Medicine (CVSM) Professor received the William D. Dar Research and Development Award from the DOST-PCAARRD Graduate Alumni Association (DPGAA) Inc. during the association’s Biennial Convention held at the Cebu Technological University on October 25, 2023.

The DPGAA recognized Dr. Domingo as the proponent and developer of the Andali Test Kit, which gained global recognition for its innovative and reliable diagnostic capabilities benefiting the livestock industry and to the field of veterinary science medicine. The award is given to researchers who have at least three internationally refereed journals, and at least one publication from a DOST-PCAARRD-funded project.

On the other hand, Dr. Ravelina R. Velasco, Acting VP for Academic Affairs received the DPGAA’s Service Award for serving as Secretary of the Board of Directors from 2021-2023.
