CLSU Formalizes Engagement with Michigan StateU
The Central Luzon State University (CLSU) through the College of Veterinary Science and Medicine (CVSM) and Center for Transboundary and Animal Diseases (CenTrAD) signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Michigan State University (MSU), USA to formalize and strengthen the scientific and technological collaboration between CLSU and MSU on August 16, 2023.
The MOU covers collaboration in research and education specifically in research areas like biosensors and diagnostics, veterinary sciences, nanotechnology, food safety, environmental sustainability, biological sciences, aquatic and marine sciences, and agricultural sciences.
University President, Dr. Edgar A. Orden and Dr. Evangelyn C. Alocilja, professor and representative from MSU signed the MOU in the presence of Dr. Ravelina R. Velasco, Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Noraine P. Medina, CVSM Dean, Dr. Virginia M. Venturina, CenTrAD Director, Dr. Errol Jay Y. Balagan, CVSM faculty, and Dr. Parsons N. Hail, Acting Director of International Affairs Office.
This collaboration intensifies the efforts and global impact of the university by providing quality education, and innovative research and development engagement.
