June 20, 2023 - 05:37 pm

Around 100 students, faculty, staff, LGBTQIA+ members and advocates participated in the Pride March held today, June 20, to celebrate diversity, inclusivity, and equality as part of their celebration of the Pride Month in coordination with the University Gender and Development Office (UGADO).
The participants proudly walked wearing colorful attires and face paints while waving the LGBTQIA+ flags and banners as they marched towards the Teachers’ Hall of the College of Education where a seminar on HIV Awareness was organized in partnership with the City Health Office of the Science City of Muñoz.
Representing the Association of Responsible LGBTQ Community that Unites in Science City of Muñoz (ARCUS), Mr. Jayson P. Rivera served as a resource speaker and talked about their advocacy in educating the participants and eradicating the misconceptions about HIV.
March with Pride, CLSUans!
