In its relentless pursuit of academic excellence, the Central Luzon State University (CLSU) will honor 368 graduands who are ready to stride the center stage of the Dr. Pedro A. Abella Graduation Site on Friday, March 3, 2023, for the 32nd Mid-Year Commencement Exercises.

With the theme “Marching Ahead of the Curve: Strategic Foresight in the Internationalization of Higher Education,” the graduation ceremony will commence through a procession followed by the commendation of the 47 graduands with academic honors.

Moreover, an honoris causa will also be given to Hon. Joseph Gilbert F. Violago, Guest of Honor and Commencement Speaker and Representative of the 2nd District of Nueva Ecija, in recognition of his outstanding and exemplary leadership, and Hon. Nestor A. Alvarez, Science City of Munoz Vice Mayor, for trailblazing the culture, music, and arts in the Science City of Munoz, Nueva Ecija.

Mr. Reynaldo Trajano Cuevas V, BS Statistics from the College of Science, will lead the graduating class of 2023 as valedictorian. He got the highest general weighted average of 1.51.

From the total graduands who are expected to march, 183 are from the College of Agriculture, 9 from the College of Arts and Social Sciences, 4 from the College of Business Administration and Accountancy, 58 from the College of Education, 61 from the College of Engineering, 5 from the College of Fisheries, 11 from the College of Home Science and Industry, 15 from the College of Science, 1 from the College of Veterinary Science and Medicine, and 21 from the Distance, Open, and Transnational University.
