Lingayen Mayor, Officials, and Farmers Seek CLSU’s Assistance for Livelihood Development

Officials from the Municipality of Lingayen, Pangasinan headed by Hon. Mayor Leopoldo N. Bataoil, visited Central Luzon State University (CLSU) and explored the possibility of collaboration using the matured technologies of the different specialized research and development centers during their Lakbay Aral today, March 15.

Prior to their tour, the delegation was welcomed by Dr. Evaristo A. Abella, Vice President for Administration, and Dr. Emilio C. Cruz, former Vice President for Research, Extension, and Training (now Research and Extension). They also went to the Office of the City Mayor of Muñoz to meet with Hon. Mayor Baby Armi L. Alvarez.

The group visited and met with the technology experts in KAMALIG - agritourism site, Institute for Climate Change and Environmental Management, Center for Tropical Mushroom Research and Development, and the Freshwater Aquaculture Center for possible livelihood projects on goats, mushrooms, tilapia, and other crops.
