UGADO Sponsors "Tekno-Talk" Interactive Segment to Engage Listeners, Viewers on Extension

The University Extension Center (UEC) launched its spin-off webcast – Tekno-Talk: Talakayang Agritek at Pangkaunlaran over the DWFA 107.3 FM Radyo CLSU on March 12, 2021.

The magazine-type talk-based program aims to showcase the UEC programs and projects focusing on the promotion and utilization of CLSU technologies and other development information.

Beginning July 2021, the program scheduled 27 episodes to showcase potential livelihood ventures for men and women audiences and spur awareness of and interest in CLSU extension programs.

Aside from Q & A with guests, the program also incorporated a new segment titled ‘Ka-Tekno, Panalo!’ in every episode to entice and engage more listeners and viewers. Three (3) winners will be given cash prize weekly sponsored by the University Gender and Development Office.

Furthermore, the radio program has successfully broadcasted 22 episodes featuring various technologies such as special purpose rice, techno village development program, aquashade technology, ‘itik-pinas’, kalinga insumix, among others.

Tekno-Talk is anchored by Prof. Janet L. Saturno, Mr. Mark Anthony R. Ibarra and Ms. Meamette Y. Rosario, which airs every Friday at 11:00 am - 12:00 noon over Radyo CLSU with simultaneous broadcast through the UEC Facebook page.
