
Overview
The URPO serves as a frontier center of R&D programs for empowering participating individuals and groups to improve their quality of life. It develops and packages appropriate technologies, processes, and systems that are adaptive to sustainable agro-industrial productivity.
Units under the URPO
The unit provides support to R&D activities of other program components and develops packages of technologies for special commodities that are useful for commercial production.

The SEDC explores, verifies or evaluates, and packages developed technologies in support of sustainable development.
