Office of the University President (OUP)

Overview

The Office is headed by the University President and has a general power of administration and supervision. As the Chief Executive Officer, he/she supervises the overall operations of the University, specifically the administrative, academic, research and extension, and business processes. Under the OUP are the following offices: International Affairs Office, Strategic Communication Office, and Gender and Development Office.

The University and Board Secretary is responsible in preparing memoranda, circulars, bulletins, and other official communications of the University.

Contact Information:

The PMS, as the primary technical arm of the Office of the University President, is responsible for providing timely, reliable, accurate, and comprehensive information for decision-making purposes, and assists in an efficient internal administration. It supervises the Planning and Development Office, Alumni Relations Office, Management Information System Office, and Presidential Office Staff.

The IAO is responsible for planning, administering, managing, implementing, and evaluating the overall internationalization efforts of the University. The Office formulates institutional policies on internationalization that are anchored on national and international interests that will directly benefit the institution. It has two units: Linkages and Intercultural Exchanges Unit, and International Mobility Unit.

The StratCom Office is responsible for overseeing a wide range of internal and external communication activities of the University. Specifically, it handles CLSU’s public and media relations, marketing communication, disaster and crisis communication, events management, and corporate social responsibility.

The UGADO ensures and advocate for, guide, coordinate, and monitor the development, implementation, review and updating of the Gender and Development plans and GAD-related programs, activities, and projects of the University. It ensures the provision of a socially responsible environment that is free from any discrimination, violence, and gender inequality.
