CED Faculty participates in National Consultation Workshop

As a Center of Excellence for Teacher Education, the Central Luzon State University (CLSU) College of Education (CED) is cognizant of its mandate in ensuring inclusive and equitable quality education for lifelong learners. As such, the CLSU-CED responded to the call of the Department of Education - Teacher Education Council (TEC) to send participants in the National Consultation Workshop with the CHED Technical Panel for Teacher Education on the revised K to 10 Curriculum which was held at Tanza Oasis Hotel and Resort, Tanza, Cavite on October 3 -5, 2022. The two subject matter representatives who attended the activity were Ms. Marites D. Antonio (Mother Tongue), Acting Department Head of the Elementary Education Department, and Mr. Vincent R. Feliciano (Good Manners and Right Conduct/Values Education), faculty from the Secondary Education Department. The Terms of Reference (TOR) for the consultation workshop include examination and validation of the Curriculum Guides (CGs) per grade level, identification of gaps and issues on the revised K to 10 CGs, and giving feedback, comments, and inputs in the revised K to 10 curriculum to ensure alignment of the basic education curriculum with tertiary education.
