CLSU Infirmary Secures Official License to Operate from DOH
Central Luzon State University (CLSU) Infirmary, the campus's essential primary health care facility, has officially received its License to Operate (LTO) from the Department of Health (DOH), with a one-year validity, following a rigorous assessment. The issuance of the LTO signifies that the University Health and Medical Services or infirmary is now authorized to provide 24-hour medical care to CLSU students, faculty, staff, and their registered dependents. However, for non-CLSU constituents (outsiders), consultation services are available only during standard business hours, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. They will also be charged for the expenses incurred. The CLSU Infirmary offers the following essential healthcare services, which now operate under the validated DOH standards: • Medical Services such as General Consultation and Medical Certificate issuance. • Dental Services, including critical procedures such as Tooth Extraction, Dental Filling, and Dental Prophylaxis. • Clinical Laboratory Services, including analysis of blood, urine, and stool samples, as well as Blood Sugar Determination. • Pharmacy Services, which provide essential and prescribed medications. This significant milestone enhances the University's capacity to deliver quality, accessible healthcare services to its academic community and the surrounding municipality.
