The Central Luzon State University (CLSU) joined the ranks of pioneering members of the Philippine Internationalization Network (PHL IN-NET) after University President Edgar A. Orden signed the joint letter of commitment together with nine other Philippine universities and European partners during the First National Conference on the Internationalization of Philippine Higher Education on July 12, 2022, in Baguio City.   The PHL IN-NET is an off-shoot of the ANTENA Project on the Internationalization of Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) in the Philippines which was coordinated by the Commission on Higher Education and co-funded by the Erasmus+ Program of the European Union.   As a member of PHL IN-NET, the University will be able to further strengthen its internationalization programs through collaboration with partner members and its European network.   In his statement, President Orden committed to share the University’s resources and manpower towards achieving the common goal of sustainable development through internationalization.   The event also gave way for the sharing of Dr. Juan Llopis from the University of Alicante on Spain’s National Network for Universities’ Internationalization, Dr. Christophe Terrase from the European Foundation for Management Development on globalizing universities, and the fireside chat from the members of the Panel of Eminent Experts on the Internationalization on Philippine Higher Education.   Other pioneering members of PHL IN-NET include Ateneo De Manila, Benguet State University, De La Salle Manila University, Mindanao State University - Iligan Institute of Technology, Polytechnic University of the Philippines, Saint Louis University, University of Philippines, University of San Carlos, and Xavier University.
