Pastor Jeffrey Eliscupidez Motivates CLSU Graduands

“Your purpose is a vital piece of a greater purpose… Mahalaga ka! Don't ever think na wala kang purpose. You are never defined by your accomplishments and it is not attached by what you will accomplish in life. Your worth and value are determined by the One who created you.” – Pastor Jeff Eliscupidez Pastor Jeff Eliscupidez from Rebuild City Church delivered an inspirational message to the 2,565 graduands during the Ecumenical Baccalaureate Service today, July 17 at Dr. Pedro A. Abella Graduation Site. In his speech, Pastor Jeff motivated the graduating class with the importance of knowing one’s purpose in life. He further emphasized that purpose gives a sense of direction to life which will ultimately lead to a success apart from just wealth and material possessions. The event was also graced by various religious domains including Rev. Noel B. Alfonso of the United Methodist Church, Rev. Nomeriano E. Antonio of City Builders of Jesus International, Rev. Guadalupe C. Miranda, Apostolic Faith Mission of Portland, Oregon (Phils.) Inc., Dr. Romeo S. Gundran, Missionary Pastor, Lakas-Angkan Ministries and Rev Fr. Renz Jane Valente, MSGC, CLSU Christ the Worker Chaplain.

TESO Continues CAT Promotion Through Pencil Donation Drive

Passed from the hands of hopeful dreamers to the hands of young learners, the Testing and Evaluation Services Office (TESO) continues its promotion of the CLSU Admission Test (CAT) while extending support to the primary learners of the DepEd-CLSU Elementary Laboratory School through a Pencil Donation Drive themed “Ang Lapis Mo, Ang Susulat sa mga Pangarap Ko” on September 28, 2026. University President Dr. Evaristo A. Abella led the distribution of 1,300 pencils to 600 pupils, alongside Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Ravelina R. Velasco, Head of the Testing and Evaluation Center Dr. Elmer D. Dela Rosa, and School Principal Jocelyn De Guzman. The Pencil Donation Drive forms part of the CAT promotion campaign and was made possible through the contributions of examinees who took the previous CAT.

CLSU, Soroptimist International Launch ATE GOES AGRI Scholarship for Female Agriculture Students

Central Luzon State University (CLSU), through its Office of Student Affairs (OSA), officially inked a Memorandum of Agreement with Soroptimist International of Metro Manila Northwest District to establish the ATE GOES AGRI Scholarship Program: Advancing Growth, Resilience, and Inclusion through Education. The MOA signing was led by University President Dr. Evaristo A. Abella, Dr. OSA Dean Irene G. Bustos, and District Director Ms. Jennifer Joan Bayot. The event was witnessed by Ms. Josephine D. Cariño. The educational assistance program empowers financially disadvantaged young women pursuing agriculture degrees by building their technical and leadership skills to prepare them for careers in sustainable agriculture, food security, and community development. This partnership will benefit five qualified female students from the CLSU College of Agriculture who demonstrate financial need. Each scholar will receive a PHP20,000 stipend for the academic year. The CLSU-OSA will facilitate the program's implementation, tasked with screening applicants, verifying academic status, monitoring scholars, and managing progress reports. This new partnership underscores a shared commitment to breaking financial barriers for women in agriculture, equipping the next generation of female leaders to drive innovation in their communities.

Central Luzon State University (CLSU) has once again sustained its Reporter status in the Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings following a comprehensive evaluation of its institutional performance. This ranking framework assessed the university across fundamental areas, including teaching environment, research environment, research quality, industry engagement, and international outlook. Marking its fourth consecutive year of inclusion in THE-WUR, CLSU remains committed to achieving a ranked position by strengthening its research output, expanding scholarly publications, and enhancing global academic collaborations.
