Speaking before the first batch of graduates under his term, Dr. Abella delivered an inspirational message recognizing their resilience and giving them reminders as they are about to be part of the corporate world and become the ambassadors of the University. Graduating with the highest grade point average, Ms. Angelica G. Quitalig, delivered a heartwarming response as the class valedictorian and offered her degree to her parents whom she thank profoundly in her speech. One of the biggest gifts I received is having a responsible Father like you, I love you Daddy. Also, to my mother, thank you for being there for me since day one. Thank you for raising us to be kind, respectful, and grateful. You became my best friend and number one supporter. As I received this medal, I would always say I am proud to be your daughter and finally we made it.” In closing, Angelica encouraged her fellow graduands in their future endeavor and the possibilities ahead of them. “The world awaits our brilliance, resilience, passion, and unwavering commitment in making a difference. We have proven that we are capable of adapting to changes, surpassing obstacles and standing up no matter the circumstances may seem. May our future never dull, our adventures be limitless, and our impact everlasting. Go forward seize the moment and carry the mark of excellence.”
