An inception meeting to discuss the plans for carrying out the Central Luzon State University (CLSU) Land Use Development and Infrastructure Plan (LUDIP) was conducted during the first quarter of 2021. Dr. Gella Patria L. Abella, Head of the Institute for Climate Change and Environmental Management, led the meeting of the technical working committee (TWC) for CLSU LUDIP.   The group, composed of faculty and staff with specialization in land utilization, profiling, assessment of infrastructure, and data mapping, among others, discussed the courses of action to produce a detailed geographic description and survey of occupied sites of the University, including the idle lands. The TWC also aimed to make an inventory of all existing buildings, facilities, and other infrastructure within the property area of CLSU. A geographical description of land use for business, agriculture, fishing, forestry, and other activities and its relation to the present biodiversity on the campus was also discussed during the meeting.   After this activity, a comprehensive LUDIP for the University is expected as an output that will set the direction for future efficient land use.
