UGADO Organizes CLSU Fun Run

The University Gender and Development Office (UGADO), headed by Prof. Janet O. Saturno, organized a fun run today, March 17 to support the celebration of National Women’s Month. With the nationwide theme “WE for Gender Equality and Inclusive Society”, the event was joined by more than 300 participants from the CLSU community including university officials led by University President Edgar A. Orden, together with Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Renato G. Reyes, Vice President for Administration, Dr. Evariso A. Abella, and Vice President for Research and Extension, Dr. Armando N. Espino Jr. and some deans, directors, faculty, staff, and students. Meanwhile, Prof. Saturno conveyed her appreciation for the effort and active participation of the Student Government Council of the College of Business and Administration who served as the facilitator of the event which aimed to promote gender equality and women empowerment.The winners for the CLSU Men Students category are the following: 1st place - John Carlo Manzano 2nd place - Janicho Valbuena 3rd place - Rashly Dave Nueva For CLSU Women Students category: 1st place - Jhosel Orpiano 2nd place - Cristell Ann Joy Uy 3rd place - Cryss Ira Cutaran For CLSU Men Employee category: 1st place - Jaypee Gabriel 2nd place - Philip Medina 3rd place - Franciz Cortez For CLSU Women Employee category:1st place - Camia Lasig 2nd place - Janet Padilla 3rd place - Elizabeth De Guzman The winners received a certificate of participation and cash prize in each category. #WEcanbeEquALL

CLSU Holds Blessing for Farmers’ Training Hostel

Central Luzon State University (CLSU) officially inaugurated the Farmers’ Training Hostel during a blessing ceremony held on November 20, 2024. The blessing was led by Fr. Rufo Ramil Cruz, CLSU Chaplain, joined by Dr. Evaristo A. Abella, University President, Dr. Ariel G. Mactal, Vice President for Administration, Dr. RavelinaR. Velasco, Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Karenina B. Romualdo, Vice President for University Business Affairs, Dr. Ma. Elizabeth C. Leoveras, Head of Auxiliary Services alongside other esteemed members of the Administrative Council. The newly renovated Farmers’ Training Hostel is a two-story building with 24 rooms, designed to accommodate visitors and guests, particularly those attending stay-in training programs. The hostel is located behind the CEC Hostel and adjacent to the R&E Cafeteria.

CLSU Maintains Strong Global Standing, Ranks 69th in 2025 AppliedHE

In the latest edition of the AppliedHE Public and Private University rankings, Central Luzon State University (CLSU) has reaffirmed its strong global standing by securing the 69th position in ASEAN Region and the 4th rank among public universities in the Philippines. CLSU has been recognized for its high ratings in key areas, including Employability, Quality of Teaching and Learning, Cutting-Edge Research, Community Engagement, Internationalization, and Institutional Reputation. This accomplishment underscores CLSU's unwavering commitment to academic excellence and community development. AFTERMATH AT CLSU | Restore and Rebuild

The recent typhoon brought challenges to Central Luzon State University, leaving visible signs of its impact across the campus. These photos highlight the resilience of the CLSU community as we come together to restore and rebuild. The administration would like to express its sincere gratitude to the CLSU personnel and students who went above and beyond in assisting with the cleaning and clearing operations, as well as to those in the kitchen who prepared meals for our students.
