As part of the month-long celebration of the 12th Uhay Festival in the Science City of Muñoz (SCM), Central Luzon State University (CLSU) took center stage as the host agency for the highly anticipated Employees’ Night, held on January 15, 2025, at the Pag-Asa Gym.
Under the theme “SCM Project Runway: Strutting to Perfection,” the event celebrated the creativity, talents, and individuality of various public and private agencies in the Science City of Muñoz. Employees from these agencies showcased their artistic flair and personal style as they graced the runway in their fashionable Project Runway-inspired attire.
Dr. Evaristo A. Abella expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Science City of Muñoz and the participating agencies for their unwavering support and collaboration. He emphasized the importance of fostering strong partnerships within the city’s community, stating:
“Let us continue working together as we have done in the past, because as institutions, we provide excellent services to our respective clienteles. Together, we are a community that provides solutions and innovations to address the issues and concerns of our country.”
Hon. Mayor Baby Armi Alvarez also delivered a meaningful message, highlighting the significance of the event. “The theme encapsulates the elegance, creativity, and uniqueness that each individual contributes as employees of our city,” she remarked, further underscoring the value of unity and innovation among the city’s workforce.
The event was also graced by the presence of Board Member Hon. Jayson Abalos and Congressman Joseph F. Violago, represented by Mikki S. Violago, both of whom generously contributed to the raffle draw and various contests, adding excitement and support to the celebration.
The evening’s highlight was the fashion show, where each agency proudly showcased a representative adorned in unique attire that embodied their organization’s identity. Adding to the excitement, employees took center stage in a segment called “SCM Got Talent,” showcasing their diverse skills and creativity.
The evening culminated in a lively dance party and an exciting raffle draw, featuring grand prizes generously donated by the participating agencies.
Next year’s Employees Night will be hosted by PhilMech, who enthusiastically accepted the challenge.
