College of Business Administration and Accountancy
The College aims to produce quality graduates who are globally competent to assume managerial and leadership roles in accounting, management, economics, and marketing. It also envisions enhancing entrepreneurship education through the exposure of the students, faculty, and staff to actual business operations and hands-on experience on small and medium enterprises and other income-generating projects. It has two departments: Accountancy and Business Administration.
A degree program that provides graduates with the necessary knowledge, skills, and attitudes in providing vital financial information relevant to the organizations’ management decisions. The program trains students in devising, planning, and providing expertise in financial reporting, performance management systems and formulation of organizational policies, procedures, and strategies.
This program teaches students the interrelationships among the different functional areas of business such as economics, human resource management, and marketing management. It is designed to help students develop their critical and analytical thinking, human relations, communication, quantitative, and technical skills which are all needed to successfully serve as business leaders both in the public and private sectors.
The program teaches the students of the importance and benefits of creating an enterprise that brings wealth and contributes to the economic and social development of society. Small business education or entrepreneurship development will be taught by introducing the process of generating ideas through opportunity seeking, preparation of a business plan, and finally, for the students to have a substantial hands-on experience of putting up and working on with their desired business venture.
This program aims to produce globally competent graduates who are capable of applying accounting, financial and business management principles while upholding professional values and practicing ethics, thereby enabling them to continue learning and adapting to change throughout their professional lives.
