Central Luzon State University (CLSU), through the College of Science (COS), College of Arts and Social Sciences (CASS), and College of Engineering (CEn), intensified collaboration with various local and international collaborators for research and development (R&D) activities through a series of Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) held on July 22, 2025, at the New Administration Conference Room. The COS specifically the Department of Math and Physics signed a MOA with San Jose West Central School (SJWCS) represented by their school principal Ms. Ruth B. Dela Cruz. This partnership will support the Learning Action Cell (LAC) program that focuses on action research to elevate classroom practice and student learning outcomes, particularly at SJWCS, during the upcoming SY 2025-2026. Similarly, the CASS through its Department of Social Sciences forged a MOA with Abar 1st Elementary School represented by their School Head Dr. Yolanda S. Bulatao. This collaboration involves implementing a specialized program called School Learning Action Cell (SLAC), aimed at enhancing the professional competencies of both teaching and non-teaching staff at Abar 1st Elementary School. In a significant step towards environmental sustainability, the CEn through its Department of Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering and the Center for Renewable Energy and Technology (CREaTe), has inked a MOA with Verde Carbon Capture Inc. (VCCI), represented by its Chief Operating Officer, Takato Senoo. This groundbreaking partnership will focus on implementing and promoting Alternating Wetting and Drying (AWD) technology in lowland rice production across Nueva Ecija. The primary objective of this initiative is to significantly reduce methane emissions from rice farming while fostering sustainable agricultural practices throughout the region. The series of signing ceremonies was led by the University President Dr. Evaristo A. Abella, alongside key representatives and witnesses from the partner agencies underscoring the importance and potential impact of these new collaborations. #PartnershipForTheGoals #SievingForExcellence

#Pailaw2025 #SievingForExcellence
