CLSU launches its first Virtual Learning Environment Platform with CUDLE (Central Luzon State University Digital and Distance Learning Environtment) as it officially held a Training between CLSU Department of Information Technology (IT) and the Distance, Open, and Transnational University (DOT-Uni) conducted last June 10-14, 2019. The project originally started as a capstone proposal with the objectives to create a platform that intends to cater both teachers and learners a convenient way to learn, teach and accessible modules. Not until it is presented at the annual CLSU in-house Review last July 14, 2017 was it recognized. Since then, the CUDLE was further developed. The said project used the MOODLE framework, which the developer highly recommended as the most complete base learning management system suitable for the needs of the university. By June 5, 2018, training with selected faculty and students was held for the local implementation of the CUDLE. After further tweaks in the system, the project has finally been accepted for university use, and thus the workshop involving selected representative from the five colleges (College of Education, College of Arts and Sciences, College of Engineering, College of Business Administration and Accountancy, and College of Veterinary Science and Medicine) was held. This workshop, which was divided into 2 sessions (June and July), provided an in-depth practical hands-on opportunities for the participants to explore. The said platform can now be accessed online through cudle.dotclsu.edu.ph where the user can view the different courses/subjects available.
