Central Luzon State University (CLSU), as the based and lead agency of Central Luzon Agriculture and Resources Research and Development Consortium (CLAARRDEC) and Regional Agri-Aqua Innovation System Enhancement (RAISE) Program in Central Luzon, respectively, participated in the recent National Agri-Aqua Innovation Pitch Fest (AIPF) through technology pitch and exhibit held on August 16, 2024 at the Royce Hotel, Clark City, Pampanga.
This event marked the culmination of the 2nd Technology Promotion Mentorship Series (TPMS), during which four CLSU personnel – Assoc. Prof. Maria Adrielle S. Estigoy, Ms. Pamela Cañaveras, Ms. Abigail Briones, and Ms. Via Shane Santiago – completed a 15-day training designed to enhance the capabilities of those involved in promoting and commercializing technologies developed by the University’s technology generators.
Representing CLSU at the AIPF, Ms. Santiago presented "MushAroy," a novel food product comprising Mushroom, Seaweed, and Maluggay, developed by Dr. Gella Patria Abella's team.
The AIPF 2024 featured a total of 22 innovative technologies from various State Universities and Colleges (SUCs) and Research Centers nationwide. It was attended by more than 500 investors, researchers, extension workers, and media personnel.
The TPMS as well as the AIPF 2024 were organized by the Department of Science and Technology- Philippine Council for Agriculture, Aquatic and Natural Resources Research and Development (DOST-PCAARRD), in collaboration with the Association of PAQE Professionals (APP).
