The Central Luzon State University (CLSU), through its College of Education (CEd), has been honored by the Commission on Higher Education (CHEd) with the prestigious Excellence in Quality Assurance in Teacher Education (EQUATE) Award for both its Secondary and Elementary Education programs. This recognition earned CLSU the Dual Honor Award, which was formally conferred during a ceremony held on April 2, 2025, at the Manila Hotel.
Dr. Florante P. Ibarra, College of Education Dean, representing University President Dr. Evaristo A. Abella, received the EQUATE Awards. Other CLSU delegates during the recognition program were Dr. Myla L. Santos, Department of Language, Culture, and Arts Education (DLCAED) Head, Dr. Jennifer V. Fajanela, Department of Education, Policy, and Practice (DEPP) Head, and Dr. Ma. Catalina D. Cadiz, Department of Technology, Livelihood, and Life Skills Education (DTLLSED) Head and CLSU Laboratory for Teaching and Learning (CLTL) Head.
