Among the millions of participants nationwide, a CLSU sophomore student won the grand prize in an electronic raffle draw of the Balik Tuition Promo 2 program of the Smart Communications Inc., winning Php 100,000 tax-free cash prize.
Ms. Adeline Belga, a 20 year old student who is currently taking Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science personally attended the awarding ceremony today, March 3 at the CLSU RET Amphitheater with her mother and younger sister.

Nagregister po ako sa promo dahil nagloload po talaga ako para sa aking online class gamit ang Smart. The ceremony was graced by Dr. Ravelina R. Velasco, Acting Dean of the College of Fisheries and Officer-in-Charge, Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs and Mr. Aijohn R. Santos, University Student Supreme Council (USSC) Chairperon along with seven delegates from Smart Communications, Inc. headed by Mr. Avelino Gamboa, Jr., North Central Luzon Manager for Community Solution and Business Development.

Smart, being one of the telecommunications partner of CLSU since 2009, has also awarded the University with 50 Smart Bro Pocket WIFI kits with SIM, WIFI device, and seven-day worth of data load, intended to provide assistance to selected students who are academically challenged by the impact of the pandemic. The USSC committed to facilitate the distribution of these WIFI kits to deserving CLSU students.
