CLSUAAI Unveils the Alumni Walk

Kicking-off the celebration of CLSU’s 60th Universityhood, the CLSU Alumni Association Inc. (CLSU AAI) unveiled the “Alumni Walk” today, June 17. This new landmark, located at the left wing of the Dr. Pedro A. Abella Graduation Site, provides a pavement for the university's ‘golden grains,’ as they celebrate receiving their hard-earned diplomas. The “Alumni Walk” features 1,500 bricks adorned with gold plates, each etched with the names, degrees, and graduation years of alumni donors. This initiative allows them to become an enduring part of CLSU's rich history. Dr. Danilo S. Vargas, CLSUAAI President, extended his profound appreciation to all the alumni who contributed to this project and underscored the significance of this collaborative endeavors which shape the long-lasting partnership of the alumni to their beloved university. "CLSU's past, present, and future are forever intertwined. The Alumni Walk embodies the power of unity. As we celebrate this milestone this inspires us to be a stronger CLSU, forever faithful to the generation who came before us," Dr. Vargas said. Additionally, Dr. Evaristo A. Abella, University President, conveyed his gratitude to CLSUAAI for its continuous support for the welfare of CLSU graduates. He emphasized that initiatives such as the Alumni Walk can strengthen the bond between alumni and the university, encouraging them to continue walking hand in hand with CLSU. "Ang mga Tatak CLSU [alumni] ay malalim ang pagmamahal sa pamanatasan, kaya’t ang pagtutulungan ay sisibol at mamamapayagpag upang higit na mapauland ang ating pamantasan.” President Abella said. In addition, the CLSUAAI generously donated 12 lecterns to the university, which will be allocated to each college, including the University Security Force. The event was attended by the Administrative Council, retired professors, and alumni from different batches with some coming from other provinces and even abroad.

CLSU Holds Blessing for Farmers’ Training Hostel

Central Luzon State University (CLSU) officially inaugurated the Farmers’ Training Hostel during a blessing ceremony held on November 20, 2024. The blessing was led by Fr. Rufo Ramil Cruz, CLSU Chaplain, joined by Dr. Evaristo A. Abella, University President, Dr. Ariel G. Mactal, Vice President for Administration, Dr. RavelinaR. Velasco, Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Karenina B. Romualdo, Vice President for University Business Affairs, Dr. Ma. Elizabeth C. Leoveras, Head of Auxiliary Services alongside other esteemed members of the Administrative Council. The newly renovated Farmers’ Training Hostel is a two-story building with 24 rooms, designed to accommodate visitors and guests, particularly those attending stay-in training programs. The hostel is located behind the CEC Hostel and adjacent to the R&E Cafeteria.

CLSU Maintains Strong Global Standing, Ranks 69th in 2025 AppliedHE

In the latest edition of the AppliedHE Public and Private University rankings, Central Luzon State University (CLSU) has reaffirmed its strong global standing by securing the 69th position in ASEAN Region and the 4th rank among public universities in the Philippines. CLSU has been recognized for its high ratings in key areas, including Employability, Quality of Teaching and Learning, Cutting-Edge Research, Community Engagement, Internationalization, and Institutional Reputation. This accomplishment underscores CLSU's unwavering commitment to academic excellence and community development. The 2025 AppliedHE ASEAN Rankings saw a notable increase in participation, featuring 100 public and 100 private universities from across the ASEAN region. #SievingForExcellence #CLSUGoingGlobal

AFTERMATH AT CLSU | Restore and Rebuild

The recent typhoon brought challenges to Central Luzon State University, leaving visible signs of its impact across the campus.
