DOT-UNI CONDUCTS 1ST TRAINING ON CUDLE

The Distance, Open, and Transnational University conducted its 1st CLSU Digital Learning Environment (CUDLE) training held for the Faculty members of DOT-Uni last June 10-14, 2019 at the DOT-Uni building, Central Luzon State University, Science City of Muñoz, Nueva Ecija. The training was participated by selected representatives from five (5) different colleges of the University: College of Education, College of Arts and Sciences, College of Engineering, College of Business Administration and Accountancy, and from the College of Veterinary Science and Medicine. The primary objective of the training program is to prepare faculty members in the deployment and management of on-line classes delivered through a virtual learning environment platform. This training is part of a training series that the DOTUni planning to conduct this 2019. The proposed second training sessions will be in the held at the third quarter of the year. CUDLE is an open source learning management system based on Moodle which is a tool used for producing and delivering internet-based courses and e-Learning sites management. The training workshop focused on building skills and knowledge in developing courses in a digital format. The workshop is expected to provide in-depth training on CUDLE through discussions on the different tools, key resources and activities inside CUDLE to deliver a dynamic, effective and stimulating online environment. The training was followed by practical hands-on opportunities to explore and apply skills learned. The workshop prepared all participants to have an access to CUDLE platform deployed in the DOT-Uni Web Portal to enable them practice, and build their specific online course, deploy on-line resources and other activities.

CLSU Holds Blessing for Farmers’ Training Hostel

Central Luzon State University (CLSU) officially inaugurated the Farmers’ Training Hostel during a blessing ceremony held on November 20, 2024. The blessing was led by Fr. Rufo Ramil Cruz, CLSU Chaplain, joined by Dr. Evaristo A. Abella, University President, Dr. Ariel G. Mactal, Vice President for Administration, Dr. RavelinaR. Velasco, Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Karenina B. Romualdo, Vice President for University Business Affairs, Dr. Ma. Elizabeth C. Leoveras, Head of Auxiliary Services alongside other esteemed members of the Administrative Council. The newly renovated Farmers’ Training Hostel is a two-story building with 24 rooms, designed to accommodate visitors and guests, particularly those attending stay-in training programs. The hostel is located behind the CEC Hostel and adjacent to the R&E Cafeteria.

CLSU Maintains Strong Global Standing, Ranks 69th in 2025 AppliedHE

In the latest edition of the AppliedHE Public and Private University rankings, Central Luzon State University (CLSU) has reaffirmed its strong global standing by securing the 69th position in ASEAN Region and the 4th rank among public universities in the Philippines. CLSU has been recognized for its high ratings in key areas, including Employability, Quality of Teaching and Learning, Cutting-Edge Research, Community Engagement, Internationalization, and Institutional Reputation. This accomplishment underscores CLSU's unwavering commitment to academic excellence and community development. AFTERMATH AT CLSU | Restore and Rebuild

The recent typhoon brought challenges to Central Luzon State University, leaving visible signs of its impact across the campus.
