FILIPINO FOOD MONTH CELEBRATION: Showcasing the Farmers' and Entrepreneurs' Products

The Department of Agriculture – Regional Field Office 3 (DA-RFO) conducted a three-day Agri-trade fair under the KADIWA ni Ani at Kita Program last April 20-22, 2022 at Marquee Mall, Angeles City, Pampanga in celebration of the Filipino Food Month with the theme: “Pagkaing Pilipino, Susi sa Pag-unlad at Pagbabago.” The activity showcased and promoted the local produce of 22 participants from Region 3 which consists mostly of cooperatives, entrepreneurs and farmers.   “Ang Buwan ng Kalutong Pilipino ay naglalayong mapahalagahan, maingatan, maisulong at maisaling lahi ang mayamang tradisyon at kultura sa pagluluto sa susunod na mga henerasyon. Ito ay naglalayon din na tulungan ang mga industriya na umaasa sa agrikultura, mga magsasaka at mga agri-community.” Mr. Fernando Lorenzo, Chief of AMAD saidduring the opening of the event.   The Central Luzon State University was also invited to showcase and promote its various products from the farmer-beneficiaries of the Techno Village Development Program. Some of the products include Itik Pinas egg (fresh and salted egg), Kabuteng Bulaklak fruiting bags, Goat’s Milk (Fresh milk and ice candy), and Special Purpose Rice (Pigmented). Aside from other farmers’ produce, other CLSU products were also showcased such as different vegetable seeds, plant-based milk (rice and soybean milk), Special Purpose Rice (Aromatic and Blended Rice), Rice Wine, Nutri Bar, Tilading (Tilapiang daing), and Choco Goat’s Milk.   The agri-trade fair was graced by the provincial agribusiness coordinators, provincial agriculturists, and provincial counterparts.

It highlighted the artistry, discipline, and cultural depth of Filipino dance by combining tradition and innovation. The choreography showcased Philippine heritage through dynamic movements, vibrant costumes, and storytelling. CLSU Celebrates Monthlong CSC Anniversary

The Central Luzon State University (CLSU) proudly joined in the nationwide celebration of the 125th Anniversary of the Philippine Civil Service Commission (CSC), showcasing its commitment to excellence in public service. Throughout September, the Human Resource Management Office (HRMO) organized a series of activities for employees designed to foster camaraderie, strengthen professional skills, and promote holistic well-being among its staff. These events include a diverse lineup, featuring Fun Run, Wellness Day, and Sportsfest, which promote health and community spirit, while Customer Relations Management Training sharpens professional skills. The University also facilitated Philsys National ID Registration and a vital Bloodletting Activity, underscoring its dedication to both its staff and the wider community.

CLSU Receives Outstanding eNGAS and eBudget System User Entity Award

Central Luzon State University (CLSU), through its Financial Management Services led by Dir. Jinky Parugrug, has been honored with the "Outstanding eNGAS and eBudget System User Entity" Award for the second consecutive time. The recognition was conferred during the Government Financial Management Innovations Circle, Inc.'s (GFMIC) 16th Annual National Convention, held on September 25, 2025, in Tagbilaran, Bohol. This accolade underscores CLSU's exemplary utilization of the Electronic New Government Accounting System (eNGAS). The eNGAS is a critical software solution designed to modernize government accounting, ensuring all financial transactions are processed with accuracy, reliability, completeness, and timeliness. CLSU stands out among academic institutions, being one of only three universities nationwide, alongside Tarlac State University and Bukidnon State University, to receive this distinction. Other awardees were drawn from National Government Agencies and Local Government Units (LGUs). The award was formally accepted by Mr. John Mark Tangonan, head of the Accounting Office, together with staff from both the Accounting and Budget Office. This achievement serves as a significant affirmation of CLSU's strong commitment to digitalization and its dedication to maintaining the highest standards of accuracy in financial reporting.
