The Alumni Batch 2003 of Central Luzon State University - University Science High School (CLSU-USHS) officially turned over to the university a newly renovated and fully equipped laboratory on August 29, 2024. This project, titled “Labor of Lab: Science Laboratory for USHS,” was made possible through their donation drive which aims to benefit both junior and senior high school students, enhancing their learning experience in science education. The project, which started in early 2024, successfully raised over one million pesos through contributions from sponsors and alumni. The renovated laboratory is now equipped with two units of the Versatile Instrumentation System for Science Education and Research (VISSER) Comprehensive Kits, allowing students to perform 67 hands-on experiments across biology, chemistry, physics, and earth science. Furthermore, it includes provisions for tables, cabinets, and stools. Mr. Joy Arvin Sadaran, President of the USHS Batch 2003 shared the inspiring story behind the inception of the donation drive, detailing how the initiative came to life.
