12 farmers undergo orientation on agro-enterprise through the UEC's TVDP

Twelve farmers from Brgy. Cabisuculan, Science City of Muñoz, Nueva Ecija undergo orientation on agro-enterprise clustering facilitated by the Central Luzon State University (CLSU) - University Extension Center (UEC) through the Technology Village Development Program (TVDP) held on May 13, 2022. During the orientation, Mr. Johnah Jefferson S. Mercado and Mr. Randy L. Kwan explained to farmer-partners the strategies for properly organizing and engaging themselves in possible market opportunities for special purpose rice (SPR) CLS2 and CLS1 and other glutinous varieties, CL 141 and CL 35. It was also an opportunity for them to deviate from not rice producers alone but rather local entrepreneurs in the future. This activity was an initial step to increasing the productivity and profitability of farmer-partners in Brgy. Cabisuculan, the Science City of Muñoz, Nueva Ecija with the right commodity and partnership building towards the sustainable enterprising.

CLSU Celebrates Monthlong CSC Anniversary

The Central Luzon State University (CLSU) proudly joined in the nationwide celebration of the 125th Anniversary of the Philippine Civil Service Commission (CSC), showcasing its commitment to excellence in public service. Throughout September, the Human Resource Management Office (HRMO) organized a series of activities for employees designed to foster camaraderie, strengthen professional skills, and promote holistic well-being among its staff. These events include a diverse lineup, featuring Fun Run, Wellness Day, and Sportsfest, which promote health and community spirit, while Customer Relations Management Training sharpens professional skills. The University also facilitated Philsys National ID Registration and a vital Bloodletting Activity, underscoring its dedication to both its staff and the wider community.

CLSU Receives Outstanding eNGAS and eBudget System User Entity Award

Central Luzon State University (CLSU), through its Financial Management Services led by Dir. Jinky Parugrug, has been honored with the "Outstanding eNGAS and eBudget System User Entity" Award for the second consecutive time. The recognition was conferred during the Government Financial Management Innovations Circle, Inc.'s (GFMIC) 16th Annual National Convention, held on September 25, 2025, in Tagbilaran, Bohol. This accolade underscores CLSU's exemplary utilization of the Electronic New Government Accounting System (eNGAS). The eNGAS is a critical software solution designed to modernize government accounting, ensuring all financial transactions are processed with accuracy, reliability, completeness, and timeliness. CLSU stands out among academic institutions, being one of only three universities nationwide, alongside Tarlac State University and Bukidnon State University, to receive this distinction. Other awardees were drawn from National Government Agencies and Local Government Units (LGUs). The award was formally accepted by Mr. John Mark Tangonan, head of the Accounting Office, together with staff from both the Accounting and Budget Office. This achievement serves as a significant affirmation of CLSU's strong commitment to digitalization and its dedication to maintaining the highest standards of accuracy in financial reporting.
