The Bachelor of Science in Fisheries, Bachelor of Science in Biology, and Bachelor of Science in Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering programs headed by their Self-Assessment Report (SAR) Heads, Dr. Ravelina R. Velasco, Dr. Angeles M. De Leon, and Dr. Elmar M. Villota, respectively are now added to the list of the AUN-QA certified programs. This accomplishment is a manifestation of the university's efforts in providing a more holistic and transformative education anchored on its mission and institutional core values. After receiving the communication from the AUN-QA, University President Edgar A. Orden expressed his gratitude to all the SAR leaders, members, and staff who took part in the said assessment. “We have done it again. It makes me proud how we collectively made an effort to accomplish this,” said President Orden. While in his proudest moments for the University, he also remarked that “All our hard work paid off – I am so glad that we pushed each other, and never gave up. We never let a daunting task be in the way of our success. Mabuhay and CLSU!” The AUN-QA is an international network created to realize the mission of harmonizing educational standards and seeking continuous improvement of the academic quality of universities in the ASEAN region. The university started its preparation for the AUN-QA assessment in 2021, however, due to the pandemic it was pushed through in 2023.
