Ayala Museum Displays Pioneers of Philippine Art Collection in CLSU Agri Museum

The Center for Central Luzon Studies (CCLS) in collaboration with the Ayala Museum Inc. presented the exhibition of “Pioneers of Philippine Art” collection featuring the remarkable works of renowned artists from the 19th and 20th centuries such as Fernando Amorsolo, Fernando Zobel de Ayala, and Juan Luna at the CLSU Agricultural Museum last February 19, 2024. Mr. Kenneth C. Esguerra, the Senior Curator and Head of Conservation at Ayala Museum, graced the event and shared the story of the featured artists and their unparalleled dedication to the world of art making them the pillars of art in the country. The event was attended by Dr. Ravelina R. Velasco, Vice President for Academic Affairs; Dr. Jay C. Santos, Dean of the College of Arts and Social Sciences; Atty. Jose Maria San Pedro, Nueva Ecija Provincial Tourism Officer; Schools Division Superintendents from Science City of Muñoz and San Jose City; CLSU faculty and staff; and students who have interest and appreciation to arts and culture. This activity is part of CLSU's initiatives in celebration of the National Arts Month. The exhibit will be open for viewing during weekdays starting on February 19 until the end of March 2024 at the CLSU Agricultural Museum from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Admission is free for everyone.

CLSU Holds Blessing for Farmers’ Training Hostel

Central Luzon State University (CLSU) officially inaugurated the Farmers’ Training Hostel during a blessing ceremony held on November 20, 2024. The blessing was led by Fr. Rufo Ramil Cruz, CLSU Chaplain, joined by Dr. Evaristo A. Abella, University President, Dr. Ariel G. Mactal, Vice President for Administration, Dr. RavelinaR. Velasco, Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Karenina B. Romualdo, Vice President for University Business Affairs, Dr. Ma. Elizabeth C. Leoveras, Head of Auxiliary Services alongside other esteemed members of the Administrative Council. The newly renovated Farmers’ Training Hostel is a two-story building with 24 rooms, designed to accommodate visitors and guests, particularly those attending stay-in training programs. The hostel is located behind the CEC Hostel and adjacent to the R&E Cafeteria.

CLSU Maintains Strong Global Standing, Ranks 69th in 2025 AppliedHE

In the latest edition of the AppliedHE Public and Private University rankings, Central Luzon State University (CLSU) has reaffirmed its strong global standing by securing the 69th position in ASEAN Region and the 4th rank among public universities in the Philippines. CLSU has been recognized for its high ratings in key areas, including Employability, Quality of Teaching and Learning, Cutting-Edge Research, Community Engagement, Internationalization, and Institutional Reputation. This accomplishment underscores CLSU's unwavering commitment to academic excellence and community development. AFTERMATH AT CLSU | Restore and Rebuild

The recent typhoon brought challenges to Central Luzon State University, leaving visible signs of its impact across the campus. These photos highlight the resilience of the CLSU community as we come together to restore and rebuild. The administration would like to express its sincere gratitude to the CLSU personnel and students who went above and beyond in assisting with the cleaning and clearing operations, as well as to those in the kitchen who prepared meals for our students.
