CBAA Holds Business Master Class and Tradeshow

The Central Luzon State University through the College of Business Administration and Accountancy (CBAA) in collaboration with the Department of Trade and Industry - Nueva Ecija Provincial Office (DTI-NEPO), hosted an event entitled "Partnership for Sustainable Development: A Business Tradeshow and Business Master Class" at the FPJ Communication Hall on September 28-29, 2023. A total of 29 micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSME) and approximately 1,200 attendees, including visitors, students, alumni, and esteemed guests flocked the event which aims to encourage the students to engage with MSMEs owners and take advantage of possible collaborative opportunities that will enhance their critical and business thinking skills. Dr. Karenina B. Romualdo, CBAA Acting Dean, emphasized the importance of resilience and partnership, and highlighted that CLSU’s partnership with DTI is a testament of having a shared vision in providing a platform where innovation and aspiration converge. She further emphasized that challenges are not insurmountable obstacles but opportunities for success. The event was also attended by university officials headed by Dr. Edgar A. Orden, University President who expressed his gratitude to Dr. Richard V. Simangan, DTI-NE Provincial Director for collaborating with CLSU, and commended CBAA as well as the Junior Marketing Association (JMA) for spearheading the activity. The event and the collaboration between CLSU-CBAA, JMA, and DTI-NEPO is hoped to mark a significant milestone in bridging the gap for a brighter and more sustainable future for the local business community.

CLSU Holds Blessing for Farmers’ Training Hostel

Central Luzon State University (CLSU) officially inaugurated the Farmers’ Training Hostel during a blessing ceremony held on November 20, 2024. The blessing was led by Fr. Rufo Ramil Cruz, CLSU Chaplain, joined by Dr. Evaristo A. Abella, University President, Dr. Ariel G. Mactal, Vice President for Administration, Dr. RavelinaR. Velasco, Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Karenina B. Romualdo, Vice President for University Business Affairs, Dr. Ma. Elizabeth C. Leoveras, Head of Auxiliary Services alongside other esteemed members of the Administrative Council. The newly renovated Farmers’ Training Hostel is a two-story building with 24 rooms, designed to accommodate visitors and guests, particularly those attending stay-in training programs. The hostel is located behind the CEC Hostel and adjacent to the R&E Cafeteria.

CLSU Maintains Strong Global Standing, Ranks 69th in 2025 AppliedHE

In the latest edition of the AppliedHE Public and Private University rankings, Central Luzon State University (CLSU) has reaffirmed its strong global standing by securing the 69th position in ASEAN Region and the 4th rank among public universities in the Philippines. CLSU has been recognized for its high ratings in key areas, including Employability, Quality of Teaching and Learning, Cutting-Edge Research, Community Engagement, Internationalization, and Institutional Reputation. This accomplishment underscores CLSU's unwavering commitment to academic excellence and community development. The recent typhoon brought challenges to Central Luzon State University, leaving visible signs of its impact across the campus.
