CEd retains Excellent Standing in the BLEPT 2022

The College of Education (CEd) retained its excellent standing in the recent Board Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (BLEPT) with a notable overall performance rate of 80 percent in Elementary Education, a thirty percent higher than the national passing rate, and 52.5 percent in Secondary Education.A total of 62 CEd graduates successfully passed the said examination administered by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) last March 27, 2022, wherein twenty-four (24) finished Bachelor of Elementary Education and thirty-eight (38) Bachelor of Secondary Education.Meanwhile, on the national level, over 10,039 elementary teachers and 7,809 secondary teachers made it to the cut of passers and became licensed teachers.

CLSU Holds Blessing for Farmers’ Training Hostel

Central Luzon State University (CLSU) officially inaugurated the Farmers’ Training Hostel during a blessing ceremony held on November 20, 2024. The blessing was led by Fr. Rufo Ramil Cruz, CLSU Chaplain, joined by Dr. Evaristo A. Abella, University President, Dr. Ariel G. Mactal, Vice President for Administration, Dr. RavelinaR. Velasco, Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Karenina B. Romualdo, Vice President for University Business Affairs, Dr. Ma. Elizabeth C. Leoveras, Head of Auxiliary Services alongside other esteemed members of the Administrative Council. The newly renovated Farmers’ Training Hostel is a two-story building with 24 rooms, designed to accommodate visitors and guests, particularly those attending stay-in training programs. The hostel is located behind the CEC Hostel and adjacent to the R&E Cafeteria.

CLSU Maintains Strong Global Standing, Ranks 69th in 2025 AppliedHE

In the latest edition of the AppliedHE Public and Private University rankings, Central Luzon State University (CLSU) has reaffirmed its strong global standing by securing the 69th position in ASEAN Region and the 4th rank among public universities in the Philippines. CLSU has been recognized for its high ratings in key areas, including Employability, Quality of Teaching and Learning, Cutting-Edge Research, Community Engagement, Internationalization, and Institutional Reputation. This accomplishment underscores CLSU's unwavering commitment to academic excellence and community development.
