Engr. Jonathan R. Santos, the lone examinee from Central Luzon State University who is currently working as a Senior Civil Engineer in Saudi Arabia secured the Top 3 spot in the June 2024 Special Professional Licensure Examination (SPLE) for Master Plumbers with a rating of 81.60% based on the results released by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC).
Engr. Santos is an alumnus from the College of Engineering (CEN) who also passed the Civil Engineering (CE) Licensure Examination in 2019. In an interview, he shared his message for future CE students enrolled in the university.
“Para sa mga aspiring Civil Engineers natin sa CLSU, hindi tayo nagkamali sa pagpili sa ating mahal na unibersidad. The knowledge and skills you will gain in CLSU will help you in real life situations and in building various projects. Tiyagain ninyo at patuloy na matuto mula sa mga professors, iabsorb lahat ng kayang iabsorb na kaalaman. Pero wag kalimutan na ienjoy ang inyong college life,” said Engr. Santos.
On the other hand, four (4) alumni from the College of Veterinary Science and Medicine (CVSM) namely, Dr. Arlene Bernardo, Dr. Aiyra Gianella Maneja, Dr. Judy Saddi, and Dr. Marvin Velasco, also succeeded in the Veterinarians Special Professional Licensure Examination administered at Abu Dhabi and Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and Singapore last June 2024. They yielded an institutional passing rate of 80%, which is higher than the 30.77% national passing rate.
