CLSU, ASCOT Set Sights on Mutual Learning and Expertise Exchange during a Collaborative Meeting

Central Luzon State University (CLSU) and Aurora State College of Technology (ASCOT), as partner State Universities and Colleges (SUCs) in the region, recently held a collaborative meeting to exchange best practices in offering graduate programs in agriculture on June 17, 2025, at the Administration Building Conference Room. The meeting was attended by representatives from both institutions. ASCOT was represented by Dr. Ma. Luz F. Cabatan, Vice President for Academic Affairs; Atty. Karl Thomas Olivar, Legal Unit Head; Ms. Maria Veronica Dulay, Human Resource Management Unit Head; and Ms. Melanie Aboy, Administrative Assistant VI. CLSU's counterpart included Dr. Ravelina R. Velasco, Vice President for Academic Affairs; Dr. Alona T. Badua, Dean of the College of Agriculture; Dr. Rosemarie T. Tapic, Head of the Crop Science Department; and Dr. Jayson J. Juan, Head of the Animal Science Department. During the meeting, University President Dr. Evaristo A. Abella expressed strong support for ASCOT, emphasizing CLSU's commitment to sharing its expertise and practices with other universities. The Central Luzon State University (CLSU), through the College of Agriculture, has once again proven its status as a Center of Excellence in the recently conducted Agriculturist Licensure Exam administered by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) in November 2025. CLSU Sustains its Standing in the AppliedHE Asia Rankings; Climbs to 2nd Rank Among the Best Public Uni in the Ph

Central Luzon State University (CLSU) has maintained its impressive standing in the latest AppliedHE Public and Private University rankings, affirming its position among the best universities in Asia and in the Philippines as it secured a ranking in the 201-220 bracket, improving its position to 2nd among public universities in the country and 1st in Central Luzon. CLSU shares its national ranking with Mindanao State University – Iligan Institute of Technology, Davao Del Norte State College, West Visayas State University, and Pangasinan State University, while the University of the Philippines continues to hold the top spot. CEn Produces 16 New Licensed Civil Engineers

The College of Engineering (CEn) celebrates the newest batch of 16 licensed civil engineers who recently took the challenging November 2025 Civil Engineering Licensure Examination given by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC). Their success has resulted in an institutional passing rate of 17.78%, an achievement that underscores their persistence and intellectual fortitude.
